• Master basic watercolor techniques
• Learn how to capture the textures of Hong Kong cuisine
• Apply various watercolor methods: layering, wet-on-wet blending, dry brush technique, glazing, and lifting
• Learn food composition and lighting techniques
Through 8 lessons, step-by-step instruction in painting authentic Hong Kong cuisines, starting from simple egg tarts to complex Cha Chaan Teng breakfast sets. The instructor will provide detailed guidance on using watercolor techniques to capture food textures.
This course is suitable for beginners. Your food illustrations will make viewers' mouths water!

- Learn the drafting of a watercolour piece
- Learn 4 types of key watercolour techniques: Wet-in-wet, Gradient blending, Forced blending, and Layering
- Learn the Colour Theory
This classes are suitable for beginners. Through painting different Japanese desserts in 4 lessons, with fruits and fresh flowers, the tutor will teach the common watercolour techniques, and explain simple colour theories. This is easy to follow and handle even for the students without learning experience on paintings. You will be able to finish one painting each lesson.
